Tis the season...

Looking for a unique, meaningful gift this holiday season?  What about a hand-carved wall hanging or frame covered in milagros?

Milagros are small, handmade folk charms used in healing or as offerings in many parts of South America.  They were introduced by the Spaniards who came to South America.  Milagros can be made out of many materials including tin, bronze, or silver, depending on the area and region where they are made.  You can find these charms attached to sacred objects in temples or around alters.  They are also carried for protection or luck.

Each milagro is formed in the shape of something that relates to what the petitioner needs or is requesting help from.  For example, a milagro in the shape of a heart could represent heart illness or romance.  A leg can represent travel or a leg injury.

When you see the pieces in our showroom, you can see how much work goes in to each one.  They are a beautiful gift that your loved ones can treasure for years to come!
